Spring Fling, Birthday Cake

Happy Friday!!

You did it!!  You made it all week and to the end of the Spring Fling Projects too!  I hope you have enjoyed seeing what we designed and prepared for our guests.  It was a great day, the feedback we have received was all in favor of a nice assortment of projects, good mix of difficulty and what can we say, they LOVE making cards but we love to throw in a few gift packaging ideas too!!

Here ya go!!  This features the Big Day SAB stamp set and the Blendabilities markers, the Artisan kit and the Big Dot TIEF to pump up the background!

There ya have it, all the projects and a recap of everything they made!  I will have to find my pictures of everything they received in their cute Hot Pink AZ INKers goodie bag!  That picture was equally amazing too!  We try to maximize every penny back into the day and into the projects and we hope they feel special and spoiled, our way of THANKING THEM for trusting in us to deliver them an awesome day of stamping!

Have a great weekend!  Hopefully I will be back with more to share!

Spring Fling, You Made my Day!

Hi!
This card is a CASE of an idea I found on Pinterest using the Best Day Ever SAB stamp set doing the Bokeh technique of soft faded dot images floating in the background.  We used the Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss that the guests were using on yesterday's card.  This way we could also tie in the Blackberry Bliss velvet trim ribbon from the Artisan kit and the tag is punched with the NEW Ornate Tag Topper punch too!

Card idea by Sara Rayner, her original found here on Pinterest

Have a great Thursday and see ya tomorrow for the last Spring Fling project!!

Spring Fling, Lotus Blossom

Hello!

I hope you are having a great week!  We are getting ready for Spring Break already, wow, this year is flying by!  Seems like it was just January and I was at Leadership in Orlando and then bam, February and our Spring Fling event, and now shazam it's already March and we're cruising right along!  I must say I hope it slows down a bit as this is Senior Year for my lovely Miss Rachel and I would like to enjoy it a bit!!  But I am sure that's wishful thinking on my part ... dance competitions every month and then it'll be May ... ay-yai-yai!!  Okay I admit, I don't know how to spell that but y'all know what I meant right!

Back to business!  Ha!  Here's a lovely card made featuring the Lotus Blossom SAB stamp set and the Something Borrowed DSP, Sahara Sand Lace ribbon trim with a touch of the Blackberry Bliss velvet ribbon from the Artisan Kit too! Oh and the Tag Greeting is from the You Brighten My Day SAB set and the Note Tag punch which carried forward from the Holiday Mini!

The Lotus Blossom stamp is a 3-step stamp image which layers each image over the other to create the depth of the amazing flower.  Colors are Blackberry Bliss for the darkest detail image, and then it's Rich Razzleberry for the other two layers (one full strenth, and the other image blotted once before stamping) and good ol' Old Olive for the greens!

Have a nice day!

Spring Fling, Artisan Stencil

Hi and welcome back!

I will continue on with some more of the projects that they got to make!  These two cards feature the Stencil from the Artisan Kit embellishment box.  Both have Sahara Sand card bases, with a panel layer of Sahara Sand that has been embossed with the Small Polka Dots embossing folder.  They also each have a few of the soft pink rose trim and about a 1/3 of a doily.  The greeting is from the Lotus Blossom SAB stamp set, one stamped in Black ink and the other card with Sahara Sand ink.

Sponged Rose Chalk ink through the Stencil onto the white cardstock layer
We sponged onto a layer and then trimmed and mounted to a 2nd layer of white as a frame
Several of our guests just stamped on the 'frame' layer and skipped the extra step!

Stencil has the white side (other side is Sahara Sand) facing up,
layered over a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock
Thanks for stopping in today!  Have a great day!

Spring Fling, Butterflies

Hi!
One of my favorite Bundles in the entire Occasions Mini catalog is the
Butterfly Basics stamp set along with the Butterfly thinlits.  Who doesn't love butterflies!  Just take a look at these two beautiful elegant samples that we made at Spring Fling.  The framelits coordinate with one butterfly framelit and then there are two framelits that are just beautiful butterflies on their own!  Both of these samples just happen to feature the medium size butterfly.

Gold Glitz Details & Vellum Cardstock & Rose Chalk Ink
Artisan Label punch, Bitty Butterfly punch
Artisan Kit doily, rose trim, pretty pearls,
Bird Builder Punch & Banner punch
Happy Stamping and I hope you are enjoying the projects, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Hugs,
Rhonda

Spring Fling, More Love is Kindness

Hi,

I have one more sample to share today that features the Hello is Kindness stamp set, Blendabilities Markers and this time it's paired up with the Something Borrowed DSP!  The stamp set is so versatile and one of my favorites, especially for a single image stamp!

Something Borrowed, Sahara Lace, Blendabilities
For this card we paired up Sahara Sand with a touch of Basic Black and the Something Borrowed designer series paper, a small snippet of Sahara Lace ribbon!  For the focal image, we stamped it and colored it and then stamped it a 2nd time and fussy cut and then popped up 4-5 tulip buds.  The newspaper section is stamped on a Sahara Sand scrap of paper and then fussy cut and popped up just a little!

The set can take on a whole new look just by changing the colors of the papers or stay neutral on the papers and change up your Blendabilities and tah-dah, it's new every time!  All of the samples from that day use the Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi that they received in their goodie bag!

Have a great day, come on back for more!

Spring Fling, Love is Kindness

Hi!
Welcome back, today I have for you a few samples we made at Spring Fling with the Love is Kindness stamp set, partnered with two NEW Blendabilities marker colors released in the Occasions Mini catalog - Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi!  LOVE LOVE LOVE these colors!  One of the comments I heard the most that day was "oh, I wasn't going to get this set, now I love it"

Subtle little touches like the Project Life corner rounder and Banner punch

Decorative Label punch on the greeting and NEW Ornate Tag Topper punch

Lovely soft pink roses from the Artisan Kit!

Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Typeset DSP

I hope you enjoy them and if you'd like to add these to your collection, thank you for shopping with me via my ONLINE STORE

Spring Fling, Cafe Treat Bag

Hi!

Have you created with our Petite Cafe Bags that were in the Holiday Mini that rolled over into the Occasions Mini?  They are wonderful and can be super easy and fast, but always adorable!

Here's one that we pulled together to show off several new products from both the Occasions Mini and the Sale-a-Bration brochure too!

The Petite Cafe Bag is the perfect size for lots of treats and small gifts.  The natural craft color base lends it to work easily with just about any color combination you want!

We used the NEW Chalkboard Paper with the Party Pennants Bigz Die and the Celebrate your Big Day SAB stamp set, the Artisan Kit, Wild Wasabi and Pink Pirouette Blendabilities ... along with Whisper White Craft ink and white embossing powder and a touch of Pear Pizzazz Cotton trim ribbon!

This is so much cuter in person!  So soft but just striking!

Have a fun day!

Spring Fling (open! open! open!)

Hello there!

Today was a day of rest!  Taking a few hours to rest and recover and to take care of my baby girl today.  Rachel wasn't feeling well all weekend and I felt so bad because once her fever broke, she ended up with an ear ache that wouldn't stop, I hate it when you are helpless.  Even at 17.5, they just want you to make it better.  Happy to report that by early evening she's feeling much better.

So to be quick today, here's the calm before the fun begins!

unloading our cars and getting the tables ready
Sheryl helping deliver Goodie Bags to the tables

A shot of part of the room, getting close to being ready to open the doors!

Ready to Check-In

Always the hardest part since they are so eager and have their hands full!
Come on back tomorrow for more!  I'll start showing what they got to make and what they received too!!

Hugs
Rhonda
