Okay so WOW, has it really been over a month?  Well, I guess y'all missed my October so here it is:  awesome trip to Rocky Point Mexico without kids, our 1st "empty nesters" vacation!  We had a wonderful time in Tucson at Family Weekend getting to visit both girls!  Came home sick for a week but managed to rock out to Garth Brooks in concert!  Ah-maz-ing!  And pulled a couple all nighters to finish up the details for my 3rd INKstravaganza Recognition event for my downline!  Did an actual in home workshop for a new customer and happy to say, team member as she decided to join the SU family too!!  And lastly, a little bit of relaxing over Halloween!  Somewhere in the month I also did an impromptu class with the Holiday Shaker Cards & Holiday Tags kits!

November, what it's already the middle of the month?  How can that be!  Well I guess it's because time has just kept creeping on by!  Managed to have another class, a cute lil Birthday Card class where you received the stamp set and washi tape and made 5 cards!  If you're interested, I'd be happy to repeat the class!  I also hosted my first Stampin' Bingo event on Nov 7th, it was so much fun!  I am going to do it again next year too!  If you're not on my newsletter list, just let me know so you don't miss out on our events!  Then it was time to head over to San Diego for the 1st ever ON STAGE Local event - a new SU! one day event with a leadership dinner reception the night before.  Pics to come!

As many of you know it's that time already -- yep, we've already moved Nicole in for her Senior Year of college -- oh my gosh how did that happen?  She is serving as president of her sorority Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi) and living in the house again.  She's majoring in Physiology and adding minors in Spanish, Biochemistry and Psychology.  She completed her MCAT exams in January and will begin the process of applying to Medical Schools to continue her education towards becoming a doctor.  And today we are loading up the car to move Rachel into her dorm at the University of Arizona tomorrow morning!!  She is enrolled in the pre-Nursing degree and will apply to the Nursing program once she completes the necessary prerequisites.  I think she will be a great nurse!  She is so excited and ready for this!  And the girls truly are very happy to have this coming year together!  Bear Down, Let's Go Wildcats!!

What that means for me, I have no idea how I am going to respond to this thing called "Empty Nest" but I'm going to try to enjoy it and make it a year of working on myself, no excuses, no guilt, just do it.  Time to put myself first and work towards a healthier me.  

I hope to be posting my class schedule again soon as I gear up for the Fall!  I should have plenty of time - right?  We are hosting our FALL FEST on next Saturday so right now I am knee deep in event prep!!  We have 120 guests coming, so there's lot to prep, stuff, assemble, and stuff and more stuff!!  It's quite a process but Diana and I have been co-hosting these together for some many years that we have quite a rhythm and process that just sort of takes over and we manage to get er done and keep on doing them!  I absolutely love hosting these days and seeing a room full of friends, team members, customers, their customers and especially the 1st time attendees -- all stamping, smiling, laughing and creating and sharing in the joy of stamping!!

All for now, lots to pack so that we can load early evening, enjoy a nice dinner together and try to get to bed to be up for an early morning!!

Other Announcements were made today with regards to a couple of other products / programs that Stampin' Up! has evaluated and deemed that they are no longer going to offer these after May 31st, 2015.

MY DIGITAL STUDIO:
My Digital Studio software, digital downloads, print products and support.
*If you have purchased the software and any downloads, please ensure that you actually download the items to your computer and do a back up!!
*If you have any projects that you are currently working on with plans to print through the SU print house, please complete those quickly!!
*Digital items will no longer be available through the Stampin' Up! store, so if there is other digital artwork (stamp sets, dsp, kits, embellishment, etc) please make sure to order (& download) these while you can.
*You may continue to use the software and downloads that you have purchased on your own, with e-cutters, etc afterward but going forward there will be no online or software support or training, videos etc.

HISPANIC MARKET:
The Spanish Celebrando Creatividad catalog and offering of translated stamp sets will be available only through the end of May.  There are other changes with this program but they impact the demonstrator side of business.

While today has several announcements please be confident that Stampin' Up! is constantly evaluating the success of its programs and product offerings to ensure that they are always bringing us the best.  Although change is sometimes frustrating and hard, it is also necessary to move forward to see what NEW offerings they can bring us.  Also please note that they do not make these decisions lightly, this is after much consideration and review.

I'm home from Orlando, FL and seem to be a tad bit under the weather.  I'm not sure if it's just my sinuses acting up or a bit more than that but I'm inching along and not wanting to admit that I might be feeling ill.  So much fun last week even if the business was definitely business-y ... the fun with friends and meeting new friends is so enjoyable when we all gather together to share Stampin' Up!
