To the Moon and Back!

Hi!

On location from Houston, TX ... I am sure that I am having a great time!  I will have to tell you all about it when I get home!  I will admit it feels funny to write them ahead of time but I am told this is the way to do it, especially when you're going to be gone ... that way YOU don't miss out!  I think I get extra credit for doing so good on my daily postings ... what ya think?  Getting better huh!

Next up today is Marlene who normally travels with us to the Stampin' Up! corporate events but sadly she opted not to make this trip this year.  We miss her!

Here's her card!

Swapped by Marlene Salvato

This set is simply adorable, although I swear I cannot get the name right ever!

To the Moon and Back, (yeah, let's go with that)

It features the new Starburst framelits with the Watercolor DSP and the mini Star punch from the Trio Pack.

The lovely 1/8" Silver Trim that has been carried over!

The embossing folder is new, coming out during SAB ... only a little bit longer!  It's coming!!

I LOVE you to the moon and back and I am missing you very much!  Not as much fun without you!

Hugs, thanks for stopping by!

Peaceful Petals

Hi!
Well if I have created and dated these posts properly, I should be in Houston attending the Stampin' Up! annual Leadership Conference event. Since I am traveling with my partner in crime of all things stamping and antiquing related, my bestie Diana Gibbs!  I figured it would be fitting to share her card with you first as I show you the swap cards that my team did for our NEW OCCASIONS MINI SWAP.  With each new publication, I host a swap for my team members!  It's a great way to get new ideas, to stay involved with what's new and current, and honestly to be prepared when it comes time to share it with our customers!!  They love all ideas and it's really good to have some that you provide and styles that others provide too!

So without further delay, here ya go!

Swapped by Diana Gibbs

Her card features the Peaceful Petals, stamped, water colored in and cut out, mounted on a tag featuring the new Tag Topper Punch made with the specialty Designer Series Paper that is already embossed!  It looks like some new Gold Bakers Twine too!

Happy Stamping and see Y'all soon!

Ah, a couple more!!

Howdy!
Well I found a couple more swap cards from the December team meeting to share with you.  I did not received these personally (dang it!, I want them ALL!) so I just found them on my cell phone!  But at least I can still share them with you!

These were swapped by Kathya and Virginia I believe!  I don't have them to check the backside but I think they are the ones who made them - lemme know and I can correct it if I got it wrong!

Swapped by Kathya Hidalgo

Swapped by Virginia Hudon
Kathya used several new items on her card!

New Fresh Prints DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog

New Stamp set from the Whole Lot of Love Promotion and the new SAB banner punch!

And equally as impressive, Virginia used the new Sprial Flower Die for the Big Shot to make this fabulous 3d rose flower!

And I think this is Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar color combination too!  Just a hint of Pink Pirouette on the focal stamping image.

I can remember drooling over both of these and sadly handing them back as I would have to settle for taking a picture!

See Stampers do make the best friends!  Okay, well I have to go, so I best sign off and hurry along!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Happy New Year!

Hi!
Happy New Year to You!

The last couple of days were busy ones!  Had to take a little time to celebrate the New Year and to of course watch the ROSE BOWL and my Michigan State SPARTANS come through with a victory!  Yeah baby!  S Go State!  Go Green, Go White, Fight Fight Fight!!!

A day spent taking down and putting away the indoor decorations and the ornaments off the tree.  It's always sad a bit to see it go but now there is a clean slate (well, bare anyway) to decorate for the new year!  I like to get it done early in January because I'd hate to still have Christmas up when I get home from the annual Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference - this year it's in Houston.

And on the final note of good news, I spent the morning yesterday with the girls at the dentist (yeah, no cavities but Rachel does need her Wisdom teeth out sooner rather than later) and that was followed up by a visit to the oral surgeon that did Nicole's jaw surgery 1.5 years ago -- whit whew, it looks like her joints and everything are completely healed!!

Okay, now for why you are really here!  You want to see the rest of the projects from Sheryl's workshop!  They asked if they could see the Envelope Punch Board used for a non envelope project! So we did two things with it, but really there are so many ideas out there!!  I already taught a class on it last fall and could easily teach another with even more ideas!

One of the projects is making this cute little bow with the board & we just finished it off by adding it to the ready to go Decorative Window Gift Box and adding a tag - with their choice of either NEW tag topper punches -- new punches from the Occasions Mini Catalog which you can order from starting today!

And our second project was to make one of the ever popular File Folder Cards!  I need to redo the picture to show it closed so you can see both portions of the File Folder Tabs.  We used the Chevron Border Punch, new Gold Sequin Trim, new Starburst Sayings Bundle (stamp set and coordinating framelits!) and the new Fresh Prints Paper Stack of really yummy papers!!  Love, seriously Love, this color combo from the paper pack - coastal cabana, real red, crumb cake, whisper white!  And there's a bit of Baked Brown Sugar Ruffled Ribbon too!

This card idea was inspired by Amy O'Neil.  Thanks Amy!  I just changed it up and made it into a File Folder Card!

Hope you have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!  See you again soon!  I will be sharing my team swap cards for the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog next!  :)  Might have to mix in a few Valentine's cards from our Dec meeting too since I can't recall if I every shared those with you or not!

Guess I better get busy and take pictures in the daylight!!

hugs,
Rhonda

Blessed Easter (a little early!)

Hi!
No it's not time to wish you a Happy Blessed Easter, heck it's not even New Year's Eve yet!!  But it is time to play, I mean "work" with my new goodies from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog since it goes live in a week or less!

So yesterday I had the pleasure of having one of my BookAThon Events with Sheryl and several of her friends here in the studio for a sneak peek mini workshop class!  They wanted to see new things so I used basically only things coming up in the new mini catalog, although really they should just rename these mini's to maxi's!  There's so much in them!

I will show you today the BLESSED EASTER card that we made:

This card features

Whisper White cardstock
Mosaic Text Emb Folder
Pink Pirouette cardstock
Blessed Easter stamp set
Happy Watercolor stamp set
StazOn Jet Black ink
Pink Pirouette ink
Pear Pizzazz ink (blotted)
Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon
Two-way glue pen
Dazzling Diamonds glitter

It was cute without the glitter but boy did it really make the tulips pop and took the card up a notch!  So happy that everyone loved it.  Quick card technique when you don't want or have time to color in the images!

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you another project they made!

Happy Monday (I really have no idea what day it is)!  We have my older brother in town and it's just been so much fun having family here this year for the holidays.  One day just runs into the next and I'm forever being told I don't know what day it is ... like it matters, I'm on vacation with my kids home and family around me!

Hugs, see you tomorrow!
