Birthday Memories Product Suite

Hi!

So here's a recap of my creations using the Birthday Memories Product Suite which includes the stamp set and coordinating framelits, designer series paper, ribbons and crepe paper balloon shape embellishments!!  If you haven't fallen in love yet, there's more samples on Pinterest!  My fellow Events Council Members also presented their version of the same topic at the other locations where events were held!  For a stamp set that I was afraid to touch and what I had originally thought was crazy busy dsp ... I absolutely LOVE this bundle and what you can do with it!  Imagine what you can do with and how it will change when you mix it up with different dsp!

Thanks for strolling along with me!  Here's a recap.  If you are just starting here, you can review the past couple weeks of posts for larger images of individual projects!

Birthday Memories Product Suite
Stamp Set, Framelits, DSP, Coordinating Cardstock, Ribbon & Embellishments

These were the CLASS PROJECTS from my business strategy presentation

Almost another dozed original samples featuring the product suite
I like to create clusters that can be broken down into mini classes too - do you do that?

My DISPLAY BOARD at San Diego, On Stage, April 2017
The text pages on Pumpkin Pie cardstock are the business breakdown and instructions
Thank You again and I hope you have enjoyed my displays!  Sometimes it is so hard to create original artwork, as in this case before the catalog launched and before Pinterest had been populated with others' creations.  But for me it always feels good to look up at the end and see what I came up with!  Don't get me wrong, I see, pin, and like just as much as you do and often will recreate and CASE what I see too - nothing wrong with that at all!

Off to create with something new today!!  I have another swap card to create for the incentive trip.  So off to decide what new toys to put to work!!

Thank You, you're the best!

Hi!

Happy HUMP Day!!  Hope you are having a great week!  Today I had to put Miss Rachel on a plane to Florida as she's attending her sorority's Grand Convention as a representative board member for her Univ of Az chapter.  She's pretty excited so I'm happy for her to have the experience.  It means for me that the house will be completely quiet for a few days with everyone gone.  I guess it's perfect time for me to focus on getting myself ready for our trip to Thailand!  Thanks to my amazing customers, awesome team members and a lot of hard work, I earned the SU incentive trip last year and it's almost time to get to enjoy it!

Maybe I'll get some stamping done in these next few days as well as some more organizing.  I'm finally able to start using my arms to lift again, as long as I can do it and feel no pain during or after.  Try being restricted to less than 5-10 lbs and waist high for 9-10 months --- quite the change and makes for some wimpy arm muscles!

Well, let's move along to today's sample!  A secondary option for a cute, quick Thank You card!

This card features the same Notecards & Envelopes, a strip of DSP, a touch of the 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon (Old Olive here), and stamped images on the envelope that were colored in with the watercolor pencils.  The greetings are from the All Things Thanks stamp set, a truly wonderful set I might add - yes, you need it!  And the top left is from the Mini Treat Bags thinlits, the banner tag and the bow, and those are popped up with dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed the samples I've shared!

More Party Treats!

Hi!

You must have a sweet tooth!  Coming back for more treats!  Well this is something everyone loves, chocolate and using up scraps of dsp!  It's a win-win!!

This cute little easy to do treat uses the 2x8" Cello Bags that we sell and a small piece of cardstock - basically cut to just wider that the candy you choose and just longer than however many you want to include in the bag.  That basically makes a little tray that your candies are sitting in, with ~1/4" sides on the L and R, and about a 1" wide base for my wrapped Hershey Nuggets candies.  You need roughly a 1"x3" strip of dsp to wrap around the candy.  You can seriously use a simple glue dot or two to adhere the dsp strip.  Insert your tray into the cello bag and slide in your candies!
I tied it off with a couple short strips of the 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.
The decoration is the smallest of the Lots of Labels framelits and a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer balloon framelit cut out too, attached with bakers twine!

It's so EASY to tie all of these items together!  Most everything uses the dsp with a little bit of coordinating cardstock, white or whatever color you choose!

This was by far a big hit!  Seems like everyone that sees this project, at the On Stage or at my house since, has loved it because it's so easy to make and everyone can do this on their own with very basic supplies!

Hope you're having a great weekend!  Did you see that???  I blogged over the weekend in order to make up for the few days that I missed earlier in the week!

Check back to see what comes next in our PARTY line up!
Thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave me a comment so I know who's been visiting!

It's a PARTY, welcome banner!

Hello!

Today I'll share with you the start of the Birthday Memories Product Suite Class idea that I put together for the April, On Stage event in San Diego.  As part of the Global Events Council our presentation outline was designed to include a business strategy featuring the product suite that we were assigned.  Basically to share an idea of how I would or other demonstrators could incorporate this into their business.

So I think what will make sense is to share the samples that I designed first and then to share the business strategy afterwards, if you are interested!  I know we are all here for the pretty things, but if you are a demonstrator you can put the cuteness and usefulness to work for you and treat your guests to a great stamping experience as well!

So ... Birthday Memories ... it seemed to me like a birthday party was a perfect idea!  So I planned out several projects and by the end you'll see you have the basics of everything you'll need!

So let's Party!  This banner can be used on the door to welcome your guests and let them know they're at the right house!  It could also be used as a center piece at a table - just attach paper straws to the pinwheels on the end and then insert into decorative glass jars, floral vases or even with skewers inside the paper straws right into the birthday cake itself!

I used the polka dots and stripes sides of the designer series paper (dsp) and just alternated by 2" x 6" strips.  I created the flag tails with the Triple Banner Punch, and used the hand-held punch to punch holes in the corners of the top edge to thread the Pacific Point new ribbon through!  I chose to thread it so the ribbon showed on the top of the banner strip (vs if you threaded it the other way it would have been behind the paper).  I used separate pieces of the ribbon to tie on bows at each end.

I used the Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper to cut out my PARTY! with the Large Alphabet Framelits - super easy if you peel off the light backing layer behind the glimmer paper.  It's almost as thin as a small layer of film, it just sort of peels off.  Then I punched some balloons as I was only sent a small sampling of the Honeycomb Crepe Balloon shapes to work with.  You could easily order those and include them as part of the class fee and then your balloons could be 1 of each color on each end and be puffy and add another layer of texture and fabulousness!!

The pinwheels are so simple, you can just cut a piece of dsp into a square, use a push pin to pierce the center of the square and then you cut from each corner towards the center stopping with 1/4-1/2".  Pierce the same corner of each of the four corners and then you insert a brad or something similar and bring one corner up to the center at a time, working your way around the pinwheel until all four corners are attached to the brad!  Super simple, google it and you can find very easy to follow tutorials.

The balloons can be cut using the Birthday Memories framelits or with the balloon punch.  I used white bakers twine, kind of curling it by pulling it against the edge of my bone folder.  Used a separate smaller piece to tie the loose balloon strings together and just let the extra tails hang down.  Use LOTS of DIMENSIONALS on this banner!  It really gives it some POP and Glimmer and it's super cute and really not that hard at all!

Hope you enjoyed the PARTY banner!

Birthday Cake & Balloons Anyone?

Hello again!

Happy HUMP dayyyyyyyy!  Here is a little something that everyone loves!  Birthday cake!!  This card features a really fun side of the pattern paper and then I stamped, colored and pop in a bitrhday cake, birthday greetings and a balloon!  Yep, a whole lot of Wink of Stella!  Can you tell yet that I love the shimmer it adds, and it was on my table the whole time I was creating I guess!!

Well I hope you are all having a great week! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this Birthday Memories Product Suite!  I still have the projects that I presented as a class idea to share with you too!!

Baker's Man Birthday Greetings

Hi

While I was making my samples I really tried to focus and create a display that showcased all of the pieces of the stamp set as well as all of the different sides of the dsp.  In honesty, this paper was a bit of a struggle in the beginning but everyone except for me loves chocolate cake, so I figured chocolate cake would tie into the browns of the back ground.  The cake and baker guy were cut out with the framelits, super easy.  I water colored with the pencils and aqua painter.  And it is so hard to get it to show up, but yes there is Wink of Stella all over that yummy icing!!

Hope you have a great Tuesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hope ... keep the faith and stay positive!

Hi!

Happy Monday to all of you - I know it's late but I had a lot going on today and the best news is that I was cleared to travel to Thailand for the upcoming Stampin' Up! incentive trip in July!  YAY!  Super excited as it's the first time since October that I have actually healed without a complication and completed a 6 week post operative recovery period!

Anyway, I know you came here for more cute stuff so here ya go!

How fitting is today's sample to share with you - it features the fiesty poodle from the Birthday Delivers stamp set along with the banner - then I paired it up with th Sunshine Wishes thinlits for the hearts and the hope greeting!  Layered up with some of the basics like Layering Circles framelits too!  Simple and it was the perfect message for Hope and keeping a positive attitude back in March when I was struggling with a set back.

I hope you enjoy it!

Girl, who's having a Birthday?

Hi!!

Well we are caught back up and today is Friday!  I have spent the day in my studio and trying to put away some long overdue piles that have gathered over the past 8 months of my time being laid up and out of commission.  Actually pulling things out and dusting and trying to re-organize a few things so they'll really be at my fingertips!  I will share pic's once it's cleaned up a bit, ya know how when you start to clean a space you actually make it a bit worse, yes that's the stage I'm at now!

trying to show you the angle so you can see what's popped up

This dsp is kinda crazy with all these poodle pups in the background, but it was still fun to stamp her and a balloon and create a cheery birthday card for a girl!  I colored it in with the aqua painters and watercolor pencils, popped up with some dimensionals!  Did you see we have new MINI DIMENSIONALS in the new catalog??  No more cutting them in half!

Have a great weekend and we'll see ya next week!  We are headed to a Diamondbacks baseball game on Saturday and still have lots of sorting and tidying up to do.  Now that Nicole has moved, we can deal with the tornado of moving Miss Rachel back into the house!!

TGIF!!

Let's Celebrate Your Day!

Hi!

How are you enjoying warp speed!  I can't believe I had these blog posts started but let time slip on actually posting them each day.  I'm trying to take the time to set up the whole week and then come back and publish or just make additional notes or comments... lesson learned ... momma was busy and a bit sad missing her girls and didn't tend to all aspects of my new routine!

So here you have today's fun card!  I seriously LOVE this dsp, once you start playing with it you won't put it down!  I betcha!

This is a scene right out of one of the sides of the DSP, I just cut it to optimize the 3 party goers!  Added the Crepe Paper Balloons - my trick, just add a dimensional to one of the sides while folded and then fold open the balloon so now both sides are sticking to the dimensional, now peel the backing off and add to your card!  And this card adds just a touch of the Old Olive new ribbon too!  Same PL Cards & Labels framelits.  I love using the same items over, I feel like it adds versatility to show it more than once!

Have a great day!  We are celebrating 26 years of marriage today and so lucky I met him almost 31 years ago!!  Yes we dated for almost 5 years including a year long engagement since we were getting married back in MI and it took some time to coordinate.

It's Your Big Day!

Howdy!!

Glad you are checking back in and hope you are enjoying the samples I made using the Birthday Memories Product Suite.

Check out today's little cutie!!  I really DID NOT like this set when it arrived as it was just so not my style and there was nothing to CASE or COPY since the catalog hadn't been released and nothing on Pinterest ... but I really, really like this set now!  Such a great bundle too, getting the DSP for FREE!!  Seriously!!

This one combines some old fashioned tone on tone stamping on the right side of the Old Olive cardstock using a variety of the images from the stamp set.  Then the left side is a piece of the DSP.  I stamped the Banner & added the greeting and then stamped the Fox.  Coordinating framelits make cutting these guys a breeze!  I used the aqua painter and the Watercolor Pencils to color the images in and of course since it was sitting out, I added the Wink of Stella to the flag greeting banner!  Tied off with some simple Old Olive bakers twine!  There you go!!

Enjoy & there's still more so come back again!

Party Animal, Birthday Greetings!

Hi

Today will be a quick post as I'm playing catch up so you don't miss out on what I had intended to share with you this week!

Today's cute little guy was a favorite of mine!  A little fussy cutting the old fashioned way since there isn't a coordinating stamp/framelit for this party animal image & the present was super easy to trim out.  It doesn't show well in this picture but on all of the little cross marks in the background (Sparkle TIEF) I have used the Wink of Stella glitter pen on them!  Super cute and easy, just stamp your greeting before you emboss the layer!  I made this a square card instead of the standard size.  You can still mail in a standard envelope to save on postage!

He just makes me happy, hope you like it too!

Surprise Birthday Card!!

Hi
I'm going to make up for some lost days by creating some additional posts so be sure to check them all out!  Fri and Sat were spent boxing and packing some things up to ship to New Jersey for Nicole, as she moved there on Sunday for a year.  We had to put her on a plane and say so long for now!  It'll be a great year of personal and professional growth for her, so I'm excited but I am also a mom and will miss her a ton!  Rachel was also gone for a few overlapping days as well, which made it one very quiet house.  I had a couple of appointments this week as well, so I apologize for not getting my daily posts in...  so now for super power overdrive!

Continuing with the displays that I created for On Stage with the Birthday Memories Suite, these next 4 samples are some really cute and fun and just easy cards to make!

First up today is this cute little birthday card, made primarily from the DSP!  You can even use the little birthday hat framelit to cut straight from the DSP.  Stamped the greeting and I believe the framelit is from the Proj Life Cards & Labels set.  Tied off with some yummy new Pumpkin Pie ribbon!!

Check back for more adorable cute cards!
Happy stamping!

Special Delivery for you

Hello again!

I hope you are joining me for the third project featuring the little girl and her page of patterned paper from the Birthday Memories Suite of products.  If not, check my prior two posts to see additional samples I designed.

This was a fun one!  I had the idea as soon as I saw the page of DSP to do this.  In my prior post, I had oval cut the little girl out of the DSP, right out of the center of the oval of cupcakes!  To do this step, I actually die cut the girl first and then ran the dsp through the Big Shot again with a larger oval framelit that fit perfectly around the ring of cupcakes!
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board with the red dsp pattern to create a tall gift bag, and to top if off I added some of the adorable White PomPom trim.  Then I created a tag using the Lots of Labels framelits for the white background layer.  Ran it through the Big Shot with the Sparkle TIEF.  And even though it doesn't show too well, I used the Wink of Stella glitter pen on all of the sparkle cross marks!!  I popped up the oval of cupcakes with dimensionals.  I then used the Lots of Labels framelits again to create the greeting layer, off center to the right so that I could add the birthday present.  The little present is from the Birthday Delivery stamp set and die cut out with the coordinating framelit.  Colored in and yep, a coat or two of Wink of Stella!  I used the 1/8" Hand-held Punch to create a hole at the top of the tag to add on some Blushing Bride Stitched Satin ribbon and tied it off in a bow.  Everything is popped up with lots of dimensionals - this bag is really so, super cute and shiny in person!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll come back again to see what I have to share with you next!

Celebrating Your Day

Hi!

Thanks for stopping back by today as I share another one of my projects featuring the Birthday Memories Suite of products.

Now look how totally adorable she is when you see her from the front!  She reminds me of the Campbell soup little girl or something equally as cute!  She isn't scary at all!

I used the Large Polka Dot (retiring, get it now!) TIEF, along with some Real Red 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (retiring, love the way this ribbon ties) and the same Layering Oval framelits and Stitched Shaped framelits.  The little girl was die cut out of the DSP patterned paper.  The greeting was stamped with Archival Basic Black ink and cut out with the Project Life Cards & Labels framelits (also retiring- another must have!).

So there ya go, you've seen her from the front and the back, featuring similar products but completely different looks!  Come back tomorrow to see another project to complete my trio for this part of the stamp set and dsp.

Have a great day!

Flowers For a Friend

Hi

Today I am going to start with one of the samples from my Displays, so this was not a part of the business idea that I presented.  We were asked to design and create 12-15 items for the display boards.  So I have LOTS to share with you over the coming days!
And remember, this product suite will be available to you as customers as soon as the NEW catalog goes live June 1st!!

It's funny that I am actually choosing to share this sample 1st with you, as this little girl 'scared' me originally for the whole time I was working with the products.  She is faceless and it's her back side ... and it honestly reminds me of when I was a little girl and had dolls ... and at night I would have to get up and go turn them to face away from me because I felt like they were staring at me!  But after the fact, I really liked this card so much that I duplicated it for the new pre-order card swap that I joined!

This card starts with Shimmery White cardstock for the base and the two stamped layers.  It was run through the embossing folder, Falling Petals from the Occasions catalog.  The scalloped oval shapes are from the Layering Ovals framelits.  The middle oval shape for the girl and the greeting are from the Stitched Shapes framelits (*must have!).  I used the new Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter to color in the images, which were stamped with our Archival Basic Black ink.  The flowers were cut using the coordinating framelits to the stamp set.  To finish off the card, I added a small little bow with some new ribbon trim, this one is with the Rich Razzleberry color.

Thanks - drop me a comment, let me know if you like it!  Stop by tomorrow to see another sample featuring her from the dsp!
