Cupcake & Gift Card

Happy Friday!

You've made it all week, so I figured you deserved something sweet to eat!  Well, I did provide yummy cupcakes from a new local cupcakery shop at class but I guess I save you all the calories by just showcasing the card here!  I figured you have to have at least one gift card holder when you're making birthday cards.  So I had saved a tutorial from Dawn Griffith from Pinterest awhile back.  I love that it's a card and a gift card holder in one!

This card features the Sweet Cupcake stamp set and coordinating Cupcake Cutout Framelits!  Made it super quick!  Stamp your frosting with Peekaboo Peach blotted, Peekaboo Peach full strength and then Pumpkin Pie for the top layer of details.  For the cupcake base it was Soft Sky, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay inks!

The gift card Matchbook Holder is a 3.5" x 8.5" piece of cardstock, scored at 3.5" and again at 7-5/8".  Fold on the scores and staple the little bottom fold about 1/4" from the bottom folded edge (dsp covers it).  Thanks Dawn!

Hope you've enjoyed this week's cards from class!  Have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday to You!

Hi there!

This has to be one of my favorite cards from the class!  Another Annual Catalog stamp set that has been collecting dust on my shelves!  Finally time to play with it and although it might seem like a little bit of a sleeper set ... wait until you see it in action!  Magic!  Genius!!

This card features the Happy Celebrations stamp set and the Celebration Duo TIEF (embossing folder) and a Clear Envelope!  Colors combination includes Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party, with Basic Black.

You start by stamping the Black greeting and then go to the TIEF embossing folder and it DEBOSSES the background of the letter/word shape and it EMBOSSES the little skinny letter shapes!  Stamp over top with a background image from the set and watch the magic happen!!

Stuffed in a clear envelope with some sequin embellishments and it makes for an adorable easy peasy shaker card!

This was definitely a class favorite too!

It's Your Birthday!

Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope this day allows you to feel loved and to give love!  The world could certainly use a larger dose of love and friendship!  So share away!!

Today's card features another stamp set from the Annual Catalog that I have had and it sadly had not seen any ink yet!  I've been waiting because it is so fun and who doesn't love a great Marquee Sign announcing it's your special day!

This card uses the Marquee Messages stamp set along with Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder and Bermuda Bay color combination.  It's super bright and a great choice for anyone!  Simply stamp the main image on all 3 colors of cardstock and trim out each section that is getting layer up from the base layer!  Super easy!

To deck this card out a step up, add rhinestones to all of the Marquee circles on the arrow and it would be over the top!!  Clean and Classic and can hardly wait to try it with some other color combinations as well!  So glad this one stuck around!

Thanks for stopping by,
Rhonda

Time to Party!

Hello!
Happy Tuesday!!  If you weren't in a good mood before then hopefully this lil' adorable guy will put a smile on your face!  I remember this set making me smile immediately last year in last years Occasion Catalog - couldn't wait to play with it!  In honesty, I think I made one card design with it for an organized swap and then never got back around to stamping much.  Last year Jan-May was a lot of surgeries and complications and a ton of rest and not much stamping ...

So this year for my Birthday Card Class, this was my "screw you cancer" card! I love this guy and I didn't get to share him last year, so I was allowing myself to share him this year!  Typically as demonstrators we try not to use retired products in class, because it provides a disservice to our customers to create a need or desire for something you can no longer get.

This card features the Yummy in My Tummy and Confetti Celebrations stamp sets.  This card is basically a case from one I found on Pinterest, other than I used different colors and dsp than the original.  But hey, I loved it so why change it, right?  Tasty Treats DSP, and Pool Party & Watermelon Wonder with a touch of Peekaboo Peach and Sprinkles embellishments.

Everyone loved him and felt like he was reaching out with a hug and a hello!

Don't you agree??

Lets Celebrate with Sprinkles

Hi

Well it has certainly been a little longer than I'd like between posts! I hope you are doing well and enjoying SALE-A-BRATION and the Occasions Catalog!  There are some really fun things packed in those publications!  Just like our Annual Catalog too!

I hosted my first real Class in the Studio in I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  It felt SO GOOD to be creative and to get back to hosting a full class with a room full of stamping customers and friends!

I had purchased some items awhile back from the clearance rack in a few of my favorite colors and they were always intended to be used in a Birthday Card Class!  I had saved a few favorites from Pinterest and Blogs and just started by recreating a couple of cards just like they were, others became a starting point and then I modified them to make them fit what I was using.

Here is one of five Birthday Cards from my Friday night Birthday Fun Class!!

A fun shaker card that features the Sprinkles of Life and  Confetti Celebration stamp sets!  Color combination includes Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and the fabulous retired Watermelon Wonder, with a touch of Crumb Cake.

Happy Stamping!

Be Mine!

Happy Friday!!

Here we go, spreading some more love!!  Won't ya BE MINE?

This card uses the Bubble & Fizz SAB DSP with the fun hearts in the background and Fresh Florals DSP Stack for the soft florals on the left edge!  The stamp sets are Heart Happiness and Bloomin Love.  Accents like the 1/8" Gold Ribbon and the Metallic Gold Doilies give this card some gorgeousness!  Yet so soft but lovely combination!

Thanks and let me know what you think about the "PS Just For You" card shares?  Are you liking them?  I find with myself working full days on Tue, Wed, Thurs during the week, it makes it a little hard to get everything done by myself.  But in the end, you're here for inspiration and I am participating in this group of ~50 leading demonstrators to help my business.  So I hope you like the variety!  But I would love to hear whether you enjoy it or prefer to see just my original artwork, so drop me a comment and let me know!

Have a great weekend!

Love, Berry Burst Style!

Hi!

Well the week is passing by so quickly!  I hope wherever you are that you have nice weather and you're feeling great!  This is why we live in AZ, our amazing weather right now!

Sometimes the simplest things are so striking!  That's what I love about this card!  Use one of the pieces of Color Theory DSP stack for the monochromatic background and add a simple black and white stamped heart, and a small flower accent that is barely sponged with a dot of color!  Add a couple of gems and a little black wire ribbon and tah-dah, amazing!

This card features the Heart Happiness and Lovely Friends stamp sets and black ink!  The black and white heart is cut out with the Lots to Love Box Framelits and the small flower is cut with the Sweet & Sassy Heart Framelits.  Add some Glitter Enamel Dots and a little sponging and you're done!!

I hope you're enjoying the ideas from my Project Sheet co-op, PS Just For You!

hugs,
Rhonda

Sure Do Love You!

Happy hump day!!!

Did you hear it that way because you know I said it that way when I typed it!  Well we will keep going with the Sure Do Love You stamp set!  This is so striking because of the fabulous DSP!  The Painted with Love Specialty DSP has gold foil in it and such bright and brilliant swoops of color!  It's a paper that begs to be hoarded but brings so much joy to life once you cut into it!  Do you hoard your prettiest paper too?

Sure Do Love You and Painted with Love Specialty DSP and the Lots to Love Box Framelit dies for the banner and the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits dies.  This card just makes me so happy!  And the DSP does all the work!  Seriously!

Ahhhh, so happy!

Card or Framed Art?

Hello!

So glad to have you popping in today!  I have another card with the Sure Do Love You stamp set that's sure to inspire you to create a special Valentine's your own special someone!!  It is so striking, you just wanna touch it!

It is another card share from my PS Just For You co-op group!  I hope you like it!

Is this a card or a framed piece of art?  Right!!  This features the same Sure Do Love You stamp set and the Brusho Crystals!  Created in a completely different way!  Here the image is stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then the Brusho Crystals are sprinkled over top, spritzed with water in a stampin spritzer and then use an aqua painter to achieve the brushstroke swipes!  Finishing touches of black and gold to create a masterpiece!

Have a great day!

You're My Valentine!

Hello

As we prepare for Valentine's I wanted to share with you some ideas that feature the SURE DO LOVE YOU stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  Each month I work along with several other SU! demonstrators in a Project Ideas Co-Op and I have struggled to actually use the ideas that I have access too... so this month I have decided I will share them here to help inspire you!

This card features Sure Do Love you and the Star of Light stamp sets along with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and Lots to Love Box Framelits - - - and a touch of the new Brusho Crystals!  Super adorable and so sparkly with the Glimmer Paper too!

Hoping you have a great day!
Rhonda
