Gorgeous Grunge meets Festival of Trees

Hi!
Here is another card that we made at club.  It was totally a fan favorite because at this point I am pretty sure that I've convinced most of my gals that the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set is mandatory ... so they love it when I use it and combine it with other sets to provide lots of new ideas!   Who would have thought that it'd be perfect for a Christmas card?
I did see an initial idea on pinterest but I cannot read the font on the picture to thank them for the inspiration but once I started stamping I changed things up and used different colors, images and added in another stamp set all together too! One of the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set!  Have you checked it out yet?

Stamping Supplies:
Real Red ink
Crumb Cake ink
Old Olive ink and cardstock
Whisper White cardstock
Gorgeous Grunge stamp set
Festival of Trees stamp set
& coordinating Tree Punch
Holiday Cheer Project Life stamp set
Good Greetings Hostess Set

Happy Stamping!

NEW Weekly Deals!

Hi!

I'm back to share the NEW Weekly Deals that are available this week!  Check it out, see if there are any of your favorites on sale!  Did you know that I can create a "Hostess Code" for you, and it's valid for 30 days and it allows you to place smaller orders and take advantage of the Weekly Deals and any other promotions and it combines all smaller (<$150) orders together by association using the same hostess code and provides Hostess Benefits once you reach $150 or more!  Let me know if you would like to have me set one up for you, in order for it work, I have to set it up (free, easy, no obligation) before the 1st order is placed!  You can also use it with friends, anyone that places an order using the code is tallied towards the total.  It's actually VERY EASY!

I love the Deco Labels Framelits and the Clear Oval Accent die - not only do they coordinate with  stamp set images but they are both perfect for tag toppers on cello bags, or on any of our kraft paper sacks (chevron stripes, polka dots, etc).

To place an order, SHOP HERE

Thanks, have a great day!

Blending Away

Hello there,
Here's hoping you are having a great start to your weekend!  I had a fun time Friday planning around in the studio with our new BLENDABILITIES Alcohol Markers. They were introduced earlier in the year and I just honestly hadn't made time to really sit and play ... so I dug them out to make a cute lil tag for a small gift for Marlene.  I actually went with gal pal Lynda to take class at Marlene's house, such a fun night of stamping, giggling, laughing and more!

I used the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive colors along with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and whisper white card stock.  The markers are all the same main color, but come as a light, medium, and dark so that you can put down layers of depth of color very easily.  So there's no wondering which to grab that will work well with each other, which is one reason I never got into alcohol markers before - too overwhelming and confusing.

This is still one of my first attempts playing so I am happy but I think the more I play and practice the better I will get at knowing where I want my darker shadows and overall blending.  Have you tried them yet?

I don't think my photos are great because it was late but here they are!  A small bottle of wine in one of our Tag a Box kits ... Perfect size for a little thank you!

The colors looks a little off (on my iPad anyhow) ... So I may have to edit the post later depending on how they look on the computer.

Hope you enjoy it!
Rhonda

Making Spirits Bright!

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today I have a little share from an impromptu class that I held recently.  It featured the stamp set Making Spirits Bright from the Holiday Mini Catalog and everyone got the stamp set and made all of the projects shown.  We did a mix of cards and a bottle tag too.

The Halloween Boos card was inspired by Amy K (thanks girl!!) and the others were my own creations.  A chocolate martini for the birthday card, and a pink cosmo for the Valentine's card and Gold & Glitz for the New Years Bottle Tag.  I don't send out NYE cards but I would be very likely to gift wine or champagne during the holidays to hosts and friends.  We stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with the fabulous Blendabilities Markers!  Lots of little embellishments to fancy things up!

Making Spirits Bright Class by Rhonda Morgan, Holiday Mini Catalog
This is a GREAT stamp set for all year even though it's debuted in the Holiday Mini, please don't overlook it!  ORDER IT NOW to add to your collection!

I cannot wait for tonight!  I get to be the STUDENT and take a stamping class at my very good and dear friend, fellow demo Marlene's house!  Thanks to my sweet friend and former downline Lynda for asking me to attend with her!  What a perfect day!  Stamping and Friends - that's what it's all about!!

Have a great weekend, I may be back on Sat or Sun ...

Hugs
Rhonda

Fall Cards

Hi!
Welcome back and I hope you've been enjoying the FALL Vignette, my posts are timed perfect for us in AZ as it's finally feeling like Fall weather for us!  Nice cool mornings (note I didn't say cold) and being able to have the doors open and even breaking out a long pair of jeans and a sweatshirt too!  Yes, we've worn nothing but shorts and t-shirts or tank tops since probably March ... so we get a bit anxious to wear our sweats!

Pulling this display together, I decided to include several cards, featuring the stamp set For All Things and the Fall DSP is actually called Color Me Autumn!  Thanks to many of my downline members for their swap cards at one of my monthly team meetings, I've included you because I think you're awesome!!

Happy FALL Y'all!  Stay tuned and come back to see what's next!

Happy Stamping!
Rhonda

Give Thanks Banner!

Hello!

Today I want to share with you my Give Thanks banner!  I'm loving making banners, they are so cute and such a fun accomplishment when they are done!  And you can make them as simple as you like or it seems like you can just keep adding and adding and adding more little details!  Part of me that's a crafter at heart loves the simple fabric buntings that are so popular these days.  Last year I made some burplap wreaths and this year I added some burlap buntings to my home decor!

And how fitting to GIVE THANKS today - on Veteran's Day - thank you to all of our past and present service men and women that have fought for our freedoms and privileges and still fight to secure our safety for our future and that of our children and our country.  Sharing a picture from our SU! trip to Washington DC, from our evening Monuments by Moonlight bus tour ... so many favorites but this one really was striking, especially at night.

To be quick I will get right to the pictures because I'll probably be back in a bit with the new Weekly Deals - so come back to see what'll be on sale this week!

For this banner I decided it keep it a little bit simpler than the Halloween banner where I had a lot of fussy cutting and layering.  Instead on this one, I used the NEW Party Pennants Bigz die and the Fall DSP and then added in the letters with (oh my gosh I can't remember now ?) Champagne or Gold Glimmer Paper and the NEW Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz die.  I even fired up my little paper sewing machine!  I made it as two separate strands and then they link together at the clothespin and tie off into the bows on the ends.

A little bit closer up, I didn't add too much extra stuff to this one
And here are my Fall Harvest Pumpkins with the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlit die
Well there ya have it!  Thanks for stopping by and see ya later with the Weekly Deals and stop by and visit me on Facebook too to see what else is happening!

Hugs,
Rhonda

Displays, Door #3

Hi!
I hope you had a good weekend!  We did, a nice balance of busy and relaxing :)   On Saturday I worked on finishing a banner for the dance studio that Rachel attends.  They were having a "homecoming dance" party for the Company kids to gear up for the competition season.  Unfortunately Rachel missed out because she was up north being a Counselor for a leadership and character camp for 7-8th graders that our middle school runs.  As it is her Sr year, it might be the last year to be able to do it, depending on where she decides to attend college.  Also an exciting day for her to return home and find her acceptance letter and scholarship for the University of Arizona, could be another Wildcat in the family but we will see as she hasn't fully decided yet!
And on Sunday we went to the Phoenix Suns game as Rachel's dance studio was performing at the halftime of the game.  The first of the "lasts" has begun!  Last time we will do a Suns performance showcase.  And the Suns pulled off the win, so yeah for that too!

Anyway, enough about what I did, I know you are here to see the final displays from my INKstravaganza Day!  Now you see why I wasn't blogging a couple of months ago... because I saved it all for the attendees to see first!  But it's taken me a month of posts to share it with you!  So on to the last Vignette, one for Fall and it's a bit smaller of my suitcases so not quite as much packed in, but pretty just the same!

Fall & Giving Thanks - LOVE this time of year!

These were my 1st boxes with the Gift Box Punch Board

A little easier to see them all, a variety of sizes all made with DSP

LOVE the double layer bow with the Gift Bow Die

Layering the Cotton Twill and new Olive thick Bakers Twine (rope almost!)

Oh crud, it's been so long, this one I CASEd from a video online
it's sized to fit a mini Kit-Kat or Hershey bar

This angle tries to show how the ribbon ties it shut
Okay so there you have the BOXES portion of this display!  I will be back with close ups of the cards, banner and of course Curvy Keepsake Box fall harvest pumpkins too!

Check in tomorrow for the NEW weekly deals too!
Happy Stamping!
Rhonda
