Blending Away

Hello there,
Here's hoping you are having a great start to your weekend!  I had a fun time Friday planning around in the studio with our new BLENDABILITIES Alcohol Markers. They were introduced earlier in the year and I just honestly hadn't made time to really sit and play ... so I dug them out to make a cute lil tag for a small gift for Marlene.  I actually went with gal pal Lynda to take class at Marlene's house, such a fun night of stamping, giggling, laughing and more!

I used the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive colors along with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and whisper white card stock.  The markers are all the same main color, but come as a light, medium, and dark so that you can put down layers of depth of color very easily.  So there's no wondering which to grab that will work well with each other, which is one reason I never got into alcohol markers before - too overwhelming and confusing.

This is still one of my first attempts playing so I am happy but I think the more I play and practice the better I will get at knowing where I want my darker shadows and overall blending.  Have you tried them yet?

I don't think my photos are great because it was late but here they are!  A small bottle of wine in one of our Tag a Box kits ... Perfect size for a little thank you!

The colors looks a little off (on my iPad anyhow) ... So I may have to edit the post later depending on how they look on the computer.

Hope you enjoy it!
Rhonda
