You're My Valentine!

Hello

As we prepare for Valentine's I wanted to share with you some ideas that feature the SURE DO LOVE YOU stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  Each month I work along with several other SU! demonstrators in a Project Ideas Co-Op and I have struggled to actually use the ideas that I have access too... so this month I have decided I will share them here to help inspire you!

This card features Sure Do Love you and the Star of Light stamp sets along with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and Lots to Love Box Framelits - - - and a touch of the new Brusho Crystals!  Super adorable and so sparkly with the Glimmer Paper too!

Hoping you have a great day!

Birthday Memories Product Suite

Hi!

So here's a recap of my creations using the Birthday Memories Product Suite which includes the stamp set and coordinating framelits, designer series paper, ribbons and crepe paper balloon shape embellishments!!  If you haven't fallen in love yet, there's more samples on Pinterest!  My fellow Events Council Members also presented their version of the same topic at the other locations where events were held!  For a stamp set that I was afraid to touch and what I had originally thought was crazy busy dsp ... I absolutely LOVE this bundle and what you can do with it!  Imagine what you can do with and how it will change when you mix it up with different dsp!

Thanks for strolling along with me!  Here's a recap.  If you are just starting here, you can review the past couple weeks of posts for larger images of individual projects!

Birthday Memories Product Suite
Stamp Set, Framelits, DSP, Coordinating Cardstock, Ribbon & Embellishments

These were the CLASS PROJECTS from my business strategy presentation

Almost another dozed original samples featuring the product suite
I like to create clusters that can be broken down into mini classes too - do you do that?

My DISPLAY BOARD at San Diego, On Stage, April 2017
The text pages on Pumpkin Pie cardstock are the business breakdown and instructions
Thank You again and I hope you have enjoyed my displays!  Sometimes it is so hard to create original artwork, as in this case before the catalog launched and before Pinterest had been populated with others' creations.  But for me it always feels good to look up at the end and see what I came up with!  Don't get me wrong, I see, pin, and like just as much as you do and often will recreate and CASE what I see too - nothing wrong with that at all!

Off to create with something new today!!  I have another swap card to create for the incentive trip.  So off to decide what new toys to put to work!!

Hugs

Thank You, you're the best!

Hi!

Happy HUMP Day!!  Hope you are having a great week!  Today I had to put Miss Rachel on a plane to Florida as she's attending her sorority's Grand Convention as a representative board member for her Univ of Az chapter.  She's pretty excited so I'm happy for her to have the experience.  It means for me that the house will be completely quiet for a few days with everyone gone.  I guess it's perfect time for me to focus on getting myself ready for our trip to Thailand!  Thanks to my amazing customers, awesome team members and a lot of hard work, I earned the SU incentive trip last year and it's almost time to get to enjoy it!

Maybe I'll get some stamping done in these next few days as well as some more organizing.  I'm finally able to start using my arms to lift again, as long as I can do it and feel no pain during or after.  Try being restricted to less than 5-10 lbs and waist high for 9-10 months --- quite the change and makes for some wimpy arm muscles!

Well, let's move along to today's sample!  A secondary option for a cute, quick Thank You card!

This card features the same Notecards & Envelopes, a strip of DSP, a touch of the 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon (Old Olive here), and stamped images on the envelope that were colored in with the watercolor pencils.  The greetings are from the All Things Thanks stamp set, a truly wonderful set I might add - yes, you need it!  And the top left is from the Mini Treat Bags thinlits, the banner tag and the bow, and those are popped up with dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed the samples I've shared!
Hugs
Rhonda

Treats, For You!

Hi

Welcome back to see what's next up at the PARTY!  Every party needs some treats to take home, so here's a couple of ideas in these next two posts!

This is one of our 2"x2" square clear plastic boxes!  It seriously couldn't be any easier!  Cut a strip of dsp to just a tiny bit less that 2"x8".  You insert it into the box and start folding it as you reach each corner and it basically stays on its own!  I did not overlap any corners or use any adhesive!  The little For You comes from the Mini Treat Bag thinlits as well - just cut that out and pop it on!
Okay so I did go a little overboard by adding the White Bakers Twine pom pom.  But it was fun to wrap the twine and then cut to create a cute little fuzzball!!!  Maybe not so cute if I was making 20 of them!!
But as you can see I did wrap the box with the Old Olive 1/4" Stitched Edge ribbon and tied it off with a bow - surely that would suffice without the pom pom!

Check back for another cute and simple treat idea tomorrow!
Thanks!

Hip Hip Hooray, You're Invited!

Hi!

Welcome to the PARTY and what's more important than an adorable invitation to join the party!

I used the birthday package side of the polka dot paper along with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit to make the "envelope" for the invite.  A Hip Hip Hooray stamped on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut out with the framelit and tied off with some of the same Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon.

The front of the invitation is shown.  I cut these out with the Lots of Labels framelits and this is the largest of the set.  Stamped the Bakers Man in the corner and watercolored him in with the Watercolor Pencils.  Up and off to the side I inked the greeting "who's having a birthday" with our Stampin Write Markers and then stamped it directly onto the invite.  To add some dimension, I stamped the Surprise greeting on a separate piece, started by inking the whole image in Sweet Sugarplum and then the lower half of the image in the Rich Razzleberry ink pad to create my own ombre effect!  Breathe on the stamp once you've inked the second color to remoisten the ink before actually stamping onto the paper.  This piece was cut using one of the Project Life Cards & Tags (i think!) framelit sets and layered up at an angle and popped with dimensionals!  For the finishing touch and to assist in pulling the invitation out of the pocket, I used a hand held hole punch and then threaded the Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Stitched Edge ribbon through it and then tied that off with a little Old Olive Bakers twine!

On the back side you could print the important party details, "who, what, where & when..."

Hope you liked it!

INKstravaganza, Take Home Treats!

Hey there!
I hope you are enjoying the FREE Shipping that's available this week!  Please let me know if I can help you out at all!  I also hope you've been enjoying the look into my INKstravaganza Day!  I think today I will finish off with their take home treats and then do the make-n-takes on another day!

They received a package of the Gold Foil & Gold Designer Vellum Paper
presented with a personal banner tag!  Love adding all the little details to make it extra sweet!

I love using my Vintage Cake Stands to make presenting things a little more fun!
Belly Band of Ribbon with a cute little layered tag dressing up the Gold Baker's Twine!
Gold Vellum and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit die is the perfect way to give away Gold Buttons!
Just a close up, all of the punched pieces for the tag are from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die

Our Kraft Square Gift Boxes with a decorated topper filled with Salt Water Taffy
A close up so you can see the detail of the box topper :)
Well I hope you feel a bit inspired to use your Gold Foil paper, Gold Vellum Designer Paper, and the Gold Soiree Designer Series specialty paper too!  I had such a great time designing with these papers and coordinating embellishments!  I didn't take a picture of my inspiration tray but next time I will try to remember to do that!  I cannot recall which DIY HGTV type show it was but the designer always started by pulling items out and setting them on her 'inspiration tray' and then you just keep going back to it, every time you create!  When creating for a day like this I really try to shoot for versatility, duplication, color combinations and creating a cohesive look in the end but yet where smaller items still have their own look!

Come back tomorrow where I show you what they made for their make-n-take projects, always a fun part of the day - we visit while we just relax and stamp!

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Bash Finale!

Hey there!

You made it, to the finale of my 1st ensemble with the BIRTHDAY BALLOON BASH product suite!  This paper is so colorful and the stamp set is easy to work with, I feel like I've barely even begun with it!  To finish up with my designs for my OPEN HOUSE, here's another card and even 1 more 3D item too!

This card uses the Birthday Bash DSP and the Balloon Bash stamp set, the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch, new SAB Ribbon and on the right is the Lucky Star TIEF (textured impressions embossing folder, carry-over from Holiday mini!).  I colored in with the Blendabilities Markers and then used a little 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds to give it just enough to glam it up a bit!

And here is another 3D Item that was made with the NEW Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die!  I altered the item from a flat gift sack to make it into a bigger gift bag with a gusset!  This little piece of new DSP was punched on both ends with the new Ornate Tag Topper and clipped on with an In Color Clothespin plus a little bit of the new Calypso Coral Pom Pom Trim and craft store White Tulle!  The greeting is from the NEW Crazy About You set (pg 31 of Occ Mini)

Well there you have it, 6 super cute projects featuring products from the BIRTHDAY BALLOON BASH product suite on pages 12-13, plus a few other toys from the Occasions Mini catalog too!  Which was your favorite?

Happy Stamping, hope you are having a great week!
