Getting Bubbly with Susan!

Howdy!

Happy weekend!!  You made it and I hope you are doing something fun this weekend!  I have been back to work at the medical office so my routine at home is slacking but I hope to get some stamping time in for some last minute ideas with some adorable things from the holiday catalog, while you can still order them!

So we have 7 of us on the North American Events Council team, with 2 in Canada and 5 in the USA.  This next gal and I have known or at least recognized each other for almost all of my 20 years (she's in 22 years!!) by flying in and out of similar airports, even on same flights sometimes and attending events.  She is from New Mexico and just a great friend!

This is SUSAN's card and she was assigned the same product bundle that I was, the BUBBLE OVER bundle!  Look at this cutie of a a card that she stamped!!  She said it was so easy to line up because the stamp set is photopolymer!

Have a great weekend!  I'll probably take the rest of the weekend off!  We have NOT yet begun to decorate for the holidays!  Although all of my fall decor has been taken down and put away, time to clean up and bring in the Christmas stuff!  Looking quite sparse in here!

Thanks so much,
Rhonda

Bubble over make-n-take

Hey!

I have a bonus card for you!  This one is not my personal creation, it is the card that Stampin' Up! created as one of our make-n-take projects from the On Stage Live event in SLC!

Here is their card.  Super cute and simple! Basic stamping and layering of dsps and a focal image!  We did some backgrounds stamping of bubbles on the Lemon Lime layer, some full strength stamping on the bottle, stamping off once for the label shape on the bottle and some stamped off twice on the greeting shape for a nice light background layer, allowing the Thank You greeting to really stand out!

There you have it!  We've done it, we've closed this chapter!  The final picture is the section of the display board with all of my samples!  Again, I thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!

I'm working on trying to be more consistent with posting!  I haven't quite figured out what my schedule will be.  But I'm finally feeling better and have returned to work at the Dr's office a few days a week now too. So I'm trying to find a new routine.

I'm hoping to start hosting a few classes and events again but am just now putting dates to the calendar to see what I can manage.  In all honesty, my energy levels are not what they used to be.  I guess your body requires more time to really heal than I thought, but I just have to learn to be a bit more patient with myself.  It was a really hard, stressful and long year and very invasive to my body.  Many remind me that I am doing well, and I really am - but I'm just not where I'd like to be I guess!

So hang in there with me!  And yes I did have to sit and write the multiple blog posts in order to fill in the days I had missed.  But I wanted you to have all of the samples - so I hope you don't mind having lots to check out!!

Hugs, thanks for understanding!

WooHoo! We did it!

Hello there!

We are nearing the end ... we can do it, we can do it!  I know we can!  I know we can!!  When we are asked to do this, I always try to see if I have used all of the images, have I shown all of the sides of DSP, do I have a wide variety?  But then I also ask myself if I have used enough items multiple times to convince you that you need them, wait I mean that you have lots of ideas to use them!!

So if you've been paying attention to little details like that ... then you'll see that I have used the Stitched Shapes Framelits a TON - not necessarily in the same way I typically might use them.  A standard use would be to stamp an image in them and then layer to your card.  But for these cards, I found that I liked to use them to help give me somewhere to "ground" my images, does that make sense?  Kind of like they are resting there instead of floating randomly on the card.

Well anyhow - I found this strip so fun to look at but it was a bit harder for me to chop up and use! I love it for a big gift bag, no problem!  But I once I finally settled in that I was going to use it on a card, I decided to pick the Basic Gray as my layering color.  So I tied in the gray from the strips to the layer around the dsp, and to the oval as well as the bottle top, and the bottle cap die cut from dsp ... and to my ink choice for the WhoHoo!

I hope that you have enjoyed my display samples as well as a few of the tips and tricks that I used while coming up with my ideas.  It's always fun but quite challenging to receive a new box of goodies.  There's no Pinterest or blogs or ideas out there yet.  So it's a challenge to come up with it on your own, but in the end it is really rewarding to sit back and say, WOW I did all this without CASE'ng anyone!!

I hope you'll be inspired to want to get your hands on this bundle once it's available and you can come back here to shop with me! I'd appreciate the support of your business!

Thanks, have a great day!

Time to Celebrate!

Hi

Did I mention that I love the stars background pattern!  This paper is so EASY to work with!  SERIOUSLY it is!  One side is busy but the other side is so accommodating and it kind of brings a nice balance to the finished card when you put two patterns together!

I pulled these patterns together because of the STARS in the top pattern and the bottle caps pattern page had the blue stars in it as well!  So from there I decided to pull in yellow as my next color - for ribbon and for the focal image of the bottle!

What else do you see?  Yep more stars in the oval using the Stars TIEF! It gives a nice added touch of texture to the card without a lot of layers!  Add a birthday greeting to tie into the Birthday Brew greeting and we're ready to celebrate!

Have an awesome day!

Welcome Baby!

Hello!

Yep, there's still a few more!  I kept trying to think of what can I do with this bottle set...?  When you first see it, yes you see bottles and bottle caps and bottle tops ... but I knew I had to try and do something beyond what I saw at first glance!  So here is my 2nd, out of the box idea which again, isn't too far out of the box!

I kept thinking do we still have that set with "ready to pop' in it, well low and behold we do!  So lucky that the greeting fit in one of the label shapes!  So I could make my own Baby Boy card!  I added the litte enamel star shapes to pull in the stars from the background paper! I just LOVE the star shapes and simple stripes two patterns together!
For a finishing touch I added two layers of ribbon and some of the Clear and Glitter Epoxy shapes and of course the welcome baby greeting!

Have a great day!

YAY, Thank You!

Hi!

Yay I am so glad you're back for more!  See that YAY makes me think of yesterdays card!!  Or today's card too because I told you that YAY was one of my favorites!  So some of these are stamped images and some are punched from one of the pages of dsp!
Yep, it's not very far outside the box, but a bundle of balloons is what I came up with!  And I loved the color combination which I pulled from the dsp!  Love the pinks and coral together, and added just a touch of a second pattern of dsp to the bottom and tied in the lovely Ombre ribbon again!

In person you can really see all the variation of dimension on this card! Some of the circles are popped, some are flat, so top layers are popped while others as a whole are popped or even double popped (did I just make that up?).

Anyhow, it's a bright, fun and cheery little thank you card that's sure to delight someone!!

YAY in pink and yellow!

Howdy!

I hope you aren't sick of seeing my samples yet!  As part of the Events Council team, we prepare a business presentation and a display board with 12-15 items to be showcased with all attendees!

So I still have a few more things to share!!

I believe this was the first card that I made when I sat down!  For some reason I was really drawn to the subtle tones of the pink, yellow and gray bottles from the DSP!  Probably because the majority of the colors in the paper are so bright and bold and fun, but not necessarily my go to colors.

The bottles were my starting point, and that led to pulling in the yellow dsp and a touch of the Basic Gray cardstock layer, and coordinating ribbon.  Well from there I pulled in the TIEF embossing folder in the background to go with the pattern found in the dsp!

Added some little bubbles and a bottle cap greeting with the YAY stamp!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that little YAY and it fits perfectly in one of our circle punches and layers into the Bottle Cap framelit!

Anyhow, probably still one of my favorites!

Two-fer Day!!

Hi again!

Today is a TWO-FER day!  Both of these cards feature the DSP cut on an angle!   So you take 1 sheet of each pattern (checking for direction) and cut it to size, for this dsp panel layer, I think I did 3.75"x5" which is then mounted to a white panel layer of 4"x5.25".  So for me, 1 sheet of dsp is the bottle caps and I wanted the direction to allow the inside images to be facing so the hearts in the red centers were upright.  And for the other pattern, I wanted the rows of bottles to be going horizontal across the wide way.  Cut the DSP at an angle, and flip the other side over to reveal the other pattern.  Adhere to the white cardstock panel layer and embellish!  It's a fun little twist when playing with DSP!

As you can see on one, I added a strip of ribbon along that seam line where the patterns meet.  On the other I didn't!  Similar elements and switched from a vetical card to a horizontal card - - it's so easy and fun!

I hope you give this a try!

Bubble Over with Happiness

Hello!

Thanks for checking back in!  Drop me a note and let me know you've been here!  I'm always wondering if anyone is out there or if I'm just typing to myself!

This card was super easy and simple, but it's truly one of my favorites because it's so clean and has just enough!  It is a 4.25"x11" card base, with a 4x4" layer of the bubbles DSP, added an Oval Stitched Shapes to attach my soda bottle too!  It just makes me think of a nice cold pink lemonade, served with a slice of lime!  ha!  And that little lime is actually punched out of the bottle caps dsp page with a circle punch and then sliced in half!

I don't know how well the Clear and Glitter Epoxy shapes show up but they are on the oval layer, creating bubbles to go along with our background pattern as well as our greeting!

This may be one of my make n takes for a Bingo Event I am planning for January!  Stay tuned for more details and registration starting soon!!

Hugs!

Your Kindness is Refreshing

Hi!

When I first received this bundle I was a little like, oh my gosh, it's just not me or my style!  Well I went back to the basics and did a little tone on tone stamping in the background of my card base layer.  And once I started playing with the DSP and had all these bottles cut out, you just couldn't put them down!  I found the DSP so bright and cheery and easy to work with!

For this one, I pulled the strip of DSP, and then added coordinating bottles from the DSP stash, added some Silver Foil bottle caps to the tops!  And to tie in the circles of the background and the circular shape of the greeting, I also added the circle shape to help ground the bottles.  As you can see I added the layer of silver foil around each of those elements as well to tie it all together.

For the finishing touches I added some loose strands of the silver metallic thread and a touch of the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon!  Have you used it yet?  I love it and it ties off so nicely!

I hope you are enjoying these samples!  Even though you cannot order the set yet as a customer, if you really like it YOU can order it as part of a starter kit if you have a $125 wish list - and it's only $99 plus tax and FREE SHIPPING too!  Please shoot me an email if you're interested in more information!

Thanks!

WhoHoo, Yay you're 21!

Hello!

Today features a fun card!  It uses the Gate Fold layout where it is a regular size of cardstock base at 5.5" x 8.5", scored at 2-1/8" from each side, which leaves a full card panel inside when you open the front gates!
Since I have my sweet Miss Rachel coming up on a milestone birthday, I thought of her when creating this card!  It features the bottles from the DSP (quite addicting once you just sit and die cut them out from one of the pages of dsp!) along with the large numbers, which were run through a TIEF embossing folder to mimic the bubbles, and then I stamped the WooHoo greeting and punched it out.  I also stamped the YAY from the stamp set along with the pink bubbles in the background of the greeting from the stamp set.

Anyhow I just wanted to show how adding a few things in opens up the imagination and this bundle will work great for many occasions!  Hopefully she will enjoy this card on her special day!

Check back soon!

Pizza and Soda Pop Anyone?

Hello again!

I thought I would share with you today the cute little Pizza Box and Soda Pop treat box I made!  When I first saw the stamp set, I knew right off I'd be making a trip to our big Sweets Shop Candy store in the Phoenix, valley area.  Do you remember eating these as a kid?  Yes, I did try one as an adult and hmmm, not so sure I could call this a favorite anymore!  But I will leave my childhood memories alone and choose to remember them as yummy, along with the wax lips and Halloween fangs!!

These cute little Mini Pizza Boxes come in packages of 8 for $6 and they are the perfect size for giving gifts, 3'x3" Notecards and envelopes (pkg of 40, $9) and of course treats!  I packaged a few of the wax bottles in one of our 3'x6' gusset cello bag (pkg of 25, $4.50).  Just fold it over, secure with some washi tape, and then wrap a little strip of cardstock and designer series paper around it to secure with a belly band!  Simple and Easy!
For the Mini Pizza Box I chose to feature the DSP and cut strips to decorate the side edges of the box, layers for the top along with cutting out a couple bottle shapes from the fun DSP patterns too, added a little pop of a For You stamped image and called it ready to go!

You can find the Mini Pizza Boxes and Notecards in the Holiday Catalog section and the Gusset Cello Bags in the Annual Catalog.  Thanks for stopping by and shopping with me if I can assist with any of your stamping needs & wants!

Stamp Set and DSP - coming soon in the Occasions Catalog & SAB Brochure!

Check back for more of my On Stage, Bubble Over Bundle display samples!

Bubble & Fizz DSP makes delightful Gift Bags

Hi

One of the very fun things about this new Bubble Over Bundle is the coordinating Designer Series Paper, Bubble & Fizz.  The DSP will be available for FREE as a SAB item starting January 3rd, 2018!!  At first sight I was like, WOW that's some seriously bright colors and bold images but I have to tell you, I used almost an entire package of it on my displays and honest truth, I only have 2 full sheets left of an entire package!

I love that it is 12"x12" and perfect for ANY crafting need!  I was able to do a few cute packaging ideas with the tucked away but not forgotten Gift Bag Punch Board!  Is your's collecting dust too?  Grab it and give it a little love!

Here's a trio of Gift Bags featuring the "backsides" of the DSP paper.  One side is bold and has bigger patterns and the other sides are awesome prints for layering backgrounds or as stand along projects as you'll see here!  I hope you enjoy them!  One is made for each size of bag on the punch board!

Large Size with Full 12x12 Paper
Medium Size with 8x12 Paper

Small size with 4x12 Paper

That's all for today, enjoy and have a great day!  I have another cute little packaging idea for you up next!!

On Stage BUBBLE OVER Presentation

Hi Everyone!

I'm happy to finally be able to share with you what I've been working on the past couple of months as I prepared displays and a business presentation for a new product bundle from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog and SAB Brochure!

I worked with the BUBBLE OVER BUNDLE and Bubble & Fizz DSP (SAB item) and an embellishment item, the Clear and Glitter Epoxy Shapes.

Today I've included the Overview Picture of my Displays and the Business Presentation Handouts.  The presentation handouts are for demonstrators to use to host the event on their own, so it shows the planning and ordering information.  The Invitation flyer shows how I would invite guests and one way to market the event.  It is a fun event, very easy to set up and prepare for, just as if you were hosting a neighborhood bunco night!  Keep it simple and fun, and fun mixed with some new products and goodies makes for a great time for everyone!  If you are a demonstrator and you try this event out, please tag me or let me know how it goes for you!  I truly hope the idea can be used by many of you!  Of course, check in your local state area to ensure that Bingo is allowed, otherwise it is basically the same as a Mystery Hostess and toss in a few rounds of bingo playing for fun!

IF you are one of my customers, please NOTE that the DATE will NOT be as shown on the invitation as I'm already committed on that date - instead stay tuned and I will be hosting this at my home for you!!  Likely to be the week earlier as I will be traveling in late January as well.

Now for the goodies!  Here you go!!  You may click on the pics to enlarge them.
