INKstravaganza Round 3

Hello!

I thought I would take a few days this week to share with you the fun we had at my third INKstravaganza Event.  This is something I host for the members of my Stampin' Up! "INKin' All Night!" team that achieved certain things during a 6 month period of time, so twice a year we gather to share and celebrate their successes.

I treat them to a day in my studio classroom, all set up pretty with linens and fresh flowers and treat them to lots of pampering!  I want them to know how proud I am of them and to walk away feeling special!

Here's the entry area and set up for this round, celebrated Oct 18th, 2015.  I hope you enjoy!  During the week please come back by as I'll share the pics of the treats I prepared for them to take home and they also enjoyed a stamp set and some make-n-takes as we always stamp together too!

Here's my front entry porch as they arrive!
From the dining room looking into my studio classroom
Fresh Flowers on the studio tables,
they each took home 3 lovely sunflowers
Here's looking into the dining room area, set up with treats and take home goodies!
Usually I have a lot of displays set up, although some but fewer this time due to being sick
Fresh Flowers in the Treats and Take Home Goodies area to tie it all together!
And these beauties stayed in my house to enjoy all week!
Just a peek at some of the treats out for them to snack on during the day
Lots of candies and my favorite PayDay snack & best home-made Caramel Corn
and .. pumpkin store bought cookies (atleast they were cute & yummy)

Thanks for coming by today, I appreciate it!  I know I have been not-so-good at being daily with my blogging but I am setting once again new goals to blog at least every other day, and daily if I can!  I have lots to share but sometimes honestly I will admit, I don't think anyone's out there reading it so I play the lazy card and don't get my rear in gear to upload and edit the photos and write a little something!  I will commit to trying again - so leave me a comment, let me know you're here and if you like something!

Have a great day!

Best Day Ever

Hi!
I hope you have had a great Sunday! I have had a wonderful day. I slept in a little bit and then I enjoyed a cup of coffee  and cinnamon rolls with Rachel. We watched a movie and I finished my preparations for my team meeting tomorrow. Rachel grabbed us Teas and we made dinner together tonight.  And I managed to makey swaps for tomorrow night already!!  Yay me!!

So here you have it!  My theme tomorrow  is using the SAB items and I LOVE this card from Pintetest by Mandi Swanson (Nope, don't know her but THANKS)!!  I changed it just a bit for colors and ribbons but every once in awhile you just want to make something you've pinned!!

It is simple but to me Packs a Punch of WOW!  Love love love the crisp color combination (strawberry slush, coastal cabana, daffodil delight) paired with classic Black and White.  Lots of punches in there: scallop tag topper, banner, flower from Itty Bitty Accents trio pack, project life corner rounder and even a strip of Washi tape!

Well I hope you will stop by again tomorrow and I'll share some more Spring Fling projects with you!

Have a great night!

NEW Weekly Deals!

Hi!

I'm back to share the NEW Weekly Deals that are available this week!  Check it out, see if there are any of your favorites on sale!  Did you know that I can create a "Hostess Code" for you, and it's valid for 30 days and it allows you to place smaller orders and take advantage of the Weekly Deals and any other promotions and it combines all smaller (<$150) orders together by association using the same hostess code and provides Hostess Benefits once you reach $150 or more!  Let me know if you would like to have me set one up for you, in order for it work, I have to set it up (free, easy, no obligation) before the 1st order is placed!  You can also use it with friends, anyone that places an order using the code is tallied towards the total.  It's actually VERY EASY!

I love the Deco Labels Framelits and the Clear Oval Accent die - not only do they coordinate with  stamp set images but they are both perfect for tag toppers on cello bags, or on any of our kraft paper sacks (chevron stripes, polka dots, etc).

To place an order, SHOP HERE

Thanks, have a great day!

Blending Away

Hello there,
Here's hoping you are having a great start to your weekend!  I had a fun time Friday planning around in the studio with our new BLENDABILITIES Alcohol Markers. They were introduced earlier in the year and I just honestly hadn't made time to really sit and play ... so I dug them out to make a cute lil tag for a small gift for Marlene.  I actually went with gal pal Lynda to take class at Marlene's house, such a fun night of stamping, giggling, laughing and more!

I used the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive colors along with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and whisper white card stock.  The markers are all the same main color, but come as a light, medium, and dark so that you can put down layers of depth of color very easily.  So there's no wondering which to grab that will work well with each other, which is one reason I never got into alcohol markers before - too overwhelming and confusing.

This is still one of my first attempts playing so I am happy but I think the more I play and practice the better I will get at knowing where I want my darker shadows and overall blending.  Have you tried them yet?

I don't think my photos are great because it was late but here they are!  A small bottle of wine in one of our Tag a Box kits ... Perfect size for a little thank you!

The colors looks a little off (on my iPad anyhow) ... So I may have to edit the post later depending on how they look on the computer.

Hope you enjoy it!
Rhonda
