Make n Takes

Hi

It is always fun to get to be an attendee at an event, or to attend a team meeting!  My direct recruiter (upline in SU terms) quit a couple of months after I joined.  For a few years in the beginning my 2nd upline lived in Gilbert and I was able to attend her team meetings.  My third upline was her sister-in-law and she lives in New Jersey.  So for a few years that was a great source of friendship and very educational way to learn about SU products, policies and opportunities!
I am the team leader for my INKin' All Night! demonstrator team.  So I am always the one preparing the events and meetings - which I enjoy doing so don't get me wrong, but it sure is refreshing to be able to show up and not do all the work!  I did do some work because I prepared a presentation and display, but still it was a break from my normal routine!

We had a mix of presentations and then had an awesome lunch and spent basically the rest of the day rotating around to complete several different make-n-take projects!

The projects feature new SALE-A-BRATION and OCCASIONS Catalog products!  Let me know if you don't already have a demonstrator that you do business with and I'd be happy to add you to my customer lists and help you with any SU! product needs.  Please send me a message with a full mailing address and your phone & email info - if catalogs are needed please let me know which ones and I'll get them in the mail to you!

Thanks, Happy Stamping!

Bubble over make-n-take

Hey!

I have a bonus card for you!  This one is not my personal creation, it is the card that Stampin' Up! created as one of our make-n-take projects from the On Stage Live event in SLC!

Here is their card.  Super cute and simple! Basic stamping and layering of dsps and a focal image!  We did some backgrounds stamping of bubbles on the Lemon Lime layer, some full strength stamping on the bottle, stamping off once for the label shape on the bottle and some stamped off twice on the greeting shape for a nice light background layer, allowing the Thank You greeting to really stand out!

There you have it!  We've done it, we've closed this chapter!  The final picture is the section of the display board with all of my samples!  Again, I thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!

I'm working on trying to be more consistent with posting!  I haven't quite figured out what my schedule will be.  But I'm finally feeling better and have returned to work at the Dr's office a few days a week now too. So I'm trying to find a new routine.

I'm hoping to start hosting a few classes and events again but am just now putting dates to the calendar to see what I can manage.  In all honesty, my energy levels are not what they used to be.  I guess your body requires more time to really heal than I thought, but I just have to learn to be a bit more patient with myself.  It was a really hard, stressful and long year and very invasive to my body.  Many remind me that I am doing well, and I really am - but I'm just not where I'd like to be I guess!

So hang in there with me!  And yes I did have to sit and write the multiple blog posts in order to fill in the days I had missed.  But I wanted you to have all of the samples - so I hope you don't mind having lots to check out!!

Hugs, thanks for understanding!
