Displays, Door #3

Hi!
I hope you had a good weekend!  We did, a nice balance of busy and relaxing :)   On Saturday I worked on finishing a banner for the dance studio that Rachel attends.  They were having a "homecoming dance" party for the Company kids to gear up for the competition season.  Unfortunately Rachel missed out because she was up north being a Counselor for a leadership and character camp for 7-8th graders that our middle school runs.  As it is her Sr year, it might be the last year to be able to do it, depending on where she decides to attend college.  Also an exciting day for her to return home and find her acceptance letter and scholarship for the University of Arizona, could be another Wildcat in the family but we will see as she hasn't fully decided yet!
And on Sunday we went to the Phoenix Suns game as Rachel's dance studio was performing at the halftime of the game.  The first of the "lasts" has begun!  Last time we will do a Suns performance showcase.  And the Suns pulled off the win, so yeah for that too!

Anyway, enough about what I did, I know you are here to see the final displays from my INKstravaganza Day!  Now you see why I wasn't blogging a couple of months ago... because I saved it all for the attendees to see first!  But it's taken me a month of posts to share it with you!  So on to the last Vignette, one for Fall and it's a bit smaller of my suitcases so not quite as much packed in, but pretty just the same!

Fall & Giving Thanks - LOVE this time of year!

These were my 1st boxes with the Gift Box Punch Board

A little easier to see them all, a variety of sizes all made with DSP

LOVE the double layer bow with the Gift Bow Die

Layering the Cotton Twill and new Olive thick Bakers Twine (rope almost!)

Oh crud, it's been so long, this one I CASEd from a video online
it's sized to fit a mini Kit-Kat or Hershey bar

This angle tries to show how the ribbon ties it shut
Okay so there you have the BOXES portion of this display!  I will be back with close ups of the cards, banner and of course Curvy Keepsake Box fall harvest pumpkins too!

Check in tomorrow for the NEW weekly deals too!
Happy Stamping!

Super Size Please

Howdy!

Well I headed over to Pinterest to see what's new and of course I was checking out the Hamburger Box Die and French Fry Box Die to see what else others were doing and sure enough, leave it up to Tanya (Stamping T, an Australian demo) to find a way to get more than just the obvious out of the die!

Here's my 1st attempt at the Super Size Hamburger Box ...  not too bad, this TAFFY DSP is so flippin' fun!  I love it!  And I paired with the 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, together they scream "let's have a party!"

Can you see the little scallop edge on the green polka dot trim piece that covers the extra crease you get from extending the paper size.  That's one of our decorative blades for the Rotary Trimmer Attachment!

On my business facebook page I posted a teaser picture the other day and asked what their Go To Greeting set was ... and everyone said it screamed birthday, so I went with the You Make Me Happy from Banner Greetings!  I hope you like it!

and why stop at one, right?  I mean it's not like I am eating them!  Zero Calories!  Yum!

This second one uses Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the yummy yummy TAFFY DSP again, and our fabulous Gift Bow Bigz Die and then a fan favorite greeting from the Yippee Skippee stamp set!  And why not, it's a birthday, let's bling it out with Rhinestone Jewels!

Thanks!
Rhonda
