Storage Solution - Blendabilities

Hi!
Just a quick little post to show you how I am storing my Blendabilities Markers for the mean time! Since spending my fun money on my cutting station, I was not able to afford a unit from Stamp-n-Storage right now so I was on a quest to find an alternative solution that would fit the function!  After some internet searching and a quick dive into Amazon ... here we are!

This is the SPECTRUM NOIR black storage trays designed for 5/8" markers.
I bought the box set, which included 6, black plastic, single stackable trays
Notice the top two rows are stacked straight on top of each other, which creates even rows
that still allow the tip of the marker to be easily accessed to be removed from the tray
The trays hold 12 markers each and lay horizontal and then they stack up vertically.

close up of the box, FIND IT on AMAZON.com
The link I used with my Prime Acct was ~$24 including tax and 2-day free shipping
Thanks and let me know how you are storing your Blendabilities -- FLAT -- is the key word!  I think I will be coloring more with having them handy dandy organized and ready to use!

Happy Stamping!

New Cutting Station, I'm in Love!

Hi!

Well it was a busy weekend and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that was able to stop by and say hello at the Open House!  I'll be sharing the other display items on upcoming days here, so stay tuned.  Some you've seen but there are more to post!
After the Open House, I had a design day with my downline Diana and we worked on our make-n-take projects for our upcoming Spring Fling all day stamping event (live in Phoenix-Tempe-Mesa-Chandler AZ area?  join us!).  We have such a great time together both personally and professionally. We did a little bit of fun and grabbed dinner at the awesome PERFECT PEAR BISTRO - yum!  Then it was back to my house and we worked until probably 2 am or later!  And she stayed the night in the guest room and we worked pretty much all day Sunday until dinner time too!  We are pretty much ready to roll and placing our final orders as registration comes to a close.

And then this happened!!  I was home preparing for my Tues Class and then all of a sudden one of my Vintage Creative Recycle-Renew gals posted a picture and my day suddenly changed!  I arranged to go pick up the perfect piece of furniture that I have been searching for - literally for several months!  What I had been using just didn't work and was causing my back to ache so frequently.  But I had pretty specific needs and height and width and depth requirements ... hence the long time waiting to find the right piece.  And please if I find the right piece, please be the right color.  Oh and for the right price. ... so interrupt my day and evening in order to pick up this beauty!! Get it home and get things switched in and out because after all I do have a class on Tuesday!!

My Cutting Station, perfect height and perfect size even
just enough room for my favorite garbage can on wheels!

Even put a few decorative items up on the walls that had been
just begging for a more permanent spot to call home!

Top drawer holds my cutter blade/handle refills, Canon Selphy Printer,
Stampin' Scrubs and Pop Up Trash Cans
The bottom drawer holds my 2nd big shot and my 4 boutique
embossing machines, and there's a tad bit of room to spare!

The left cupboard holds my Embossing Heat Gun & Stand, Embossing Powders
on K-cup spinner and my Stampin Up paper trimmers, Score Board and Inserts
The right cupboard holds supplies for class (project bins) and grid sheets
and since the picture I have placed 2 large stackables in the open space that hold
TIEF (textured Impressions Embossing Folders) and my Framelits Dies too!

And to Robin and those stopping by for the Creative Blog Hop, I will do that in a day or so!  Check back okay!!

That's all folks!
Rhonda

One more Bumblebee!

Hi again!

I have to say the day that I was playing with this little stamp, I just didn't want to stop!  So cute to color in and easy too!!  Love the quick gratification and it ended up being more versatile than I first thought!  I apologize that this picture is a little bit out of focus (or it's my aging eyes) but it's night time and I don't have good light to retake the picture.

Again this one uses the same base of supplies, Baby Bumblebee and Sweet Dreams DSP, and I stamped it on a framelit and then cut the basic black layer from the same size/shape and just cut it in 1/2 and turned it on its side to give it a fun little layer!  Same ribbon and added some new Washi Tape to a clothespin and brought back in the black Baker's Twine too!

The project is actually a flat white gift sack (non gusset) and you score on the sides and bottom to create your own gusset and then folder over the top edge and clipped with a clothespin!  I had these bags in the studio so I thought it'd be a fun little gift packaging!

I hope you like this little single stamp now too!  Because of the paper I did start out pretty traditional with black and yellow bumblebee colors but I wonder how adorable it would look with pink for a baby girl??  or blue??  and now we have soft sky and pink pirouette Blendabilities to color with too!! NEW pastel colors are in the Occasions Mini Catalog!

See you tomorrow, thanks for stopping by and for coming back!

Another little bumblebee!

Hello again!

Did you get a chance to check out the awesome items on this weeks Weekly Deals?  If not, just check yesterdays post!  There are some great items at great savings!

Today I am back with another little Bumblebee project for you!  I am at the in between age where I'm definitely not having babies or grand babies so I don't find myself doing much with baby themed stamps, unless my customers let me know there's a need and then I'll pop one in a class sometimes.  But this little image was an immediate attraction, and I don't even like bees - to be honest, they scare me in real life!

This one stays with pretty much the same supplies as yesterday.  It's the Sweet Dreams DSP, Baby Bumblebee stamp, added in the Hexagon TIEF for the background texture.  Just a little knot of ribbon tied off in the corner, softened with the Corner Rounder!

Have a great day!

Dancing Bunny!

Hello!

When I saw this cute lil' stamp set I couldn't help but focus on the center of the image, this cute happy bunny!  As a mother of two daughters that have danced all their lives, I immediately pictured this lil' bunny as dancing!
So I stamped it and colored it in ballet pink (PINK PIROUETTE) of course, added some bling with the Silver Glimmer Paper, and created a lil' Tutu Treat Jar!  The white layer is a cupcake liner, and then layers of pink and glimmer that were punched with our circle punches, which become the perfect backdrop for our Dancing Bunny (stamped, colored and fussy cut out) popped up!  The jar is a 4oz jelly jar filled with pink, blue and purple m&m's!  A little Banner Tag punch of silver nestled in with the Pink Seam Binding to finish it off!

Here's a snapshot of how these were displayed at my team Demo Day event last weekend.  Featured on the left along with these projects is the new Artisan Kit and the Sweet Dream Designer Buttons are in one of my vintage jello mold trays!

I hope you have a happy weekend!  Go stamp something fun for yourself!!

Have a great day!

Hey Lil Bunny!

Hi and Happy Weekend!

I know it is super duper early to even think about Easter yet, but this lil stamp is so stinkin' cute that I just had to order it, and had to play with it when I opened my pre-order box!  I haven't done a lot with it but I do have a couple of things to share!  Just a little taste of it's cuteness! I'm sure there will be plenty more to come in time!

This card was stamped with Memento Black ink and then colored in with the Blendabilities Markers, cut out the oval layers using our Oval Framelits.  And the adorable NEW Bow Builder Punch makes another appearance in Whisper White here, ran the pieces through the Small Polka Dots TIEF.  A few strands of the NEW Thick Bakers Twine wrapped around the base which is Island Indigo cardstock and a layer from another NEW DSP pack called Sweet Dreams.

Happy Stamping, stop by tomorrow to see another use of this stamp!

Birthday Bash Finale!

Hey there!

You made it, to the finale of my 1st ensemble with the BIRTHDAY BALLOON BASH product suite!  This paper is so colorful and the stamp set is easy to work with, I feel like I've barely even begun with it!  To finish up with my designs for my OPEN HOUSE, here's another card and even 1 more 3D item too!

This card uses the Birthday Bash DSP and the Balloon Bash stamp set, the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch, new SAB Ribbon and on the right is the Lucky Star TIEF (textured impressions embossing folder, carry-over from Holiday mini!).  I colored in with the Blendabilities Markers and then used a little 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds to give it just enough to glam it up a bit!

And here is another 3D Item that was made with the NEW Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die!  I altered the item from a flat gift sack to make it into a bigger gift bag with a gusset!  This little piece of new DSP was punched on both ends with the new Ornate Tag Topper and clipped on with an In Color Clothespin plus a little bit of the new Calypso Coral Pom Pom Trim and craft store White Tulle!  The greeting is from the NEW Crazy About You set (pg 31 of Occ Mini)

Well there you have it, 6 super cute projects featuring products from the BIRTHDAY BALLOON BASH product suite on pages 12-13, plus a few other toys from the Occasions Mini catalog too!  Which was your favorite?

Happy Stamping, hope you are having a great week!

More Balloon Bash!

Hi and welcome!

Check out this card ... yep, adorable right?  Well it's CASEd right out of the catalog from page 12 pretty much!  I added a full layer of cardstock for my Bermuda Bay and I stamped the greeting on a separate little strip of white and hand trimmed and popped it up!  It's actually so cute in real life, so if you're local to me in AZ, stop by my OPEN HOUSE on JAN 17th (11a-2p) to check it out!

Wait - did you notice that NEW adorable BOW, yep a handy bow builder punch!

And just in time for spring, look at this adorable BERRY BASKET! It's a Big Shot Die and it only takes 1 sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper to make!  Easy Peasy at it's best!  All assembled with a little bit of liquid multipurpose tombow glue (aka: green tip glue!).  ;)   And of course this picture was taken before I had time to head to the store to find some coordinating candies (Tropical Starbust!).

This basket is finished off with a small strip of the NEW DSP under the scallop top layer, then the NEW flower punch using the NEW DSP again, a 1-1/4" Scallop Circle punch, then a 1" Circle Punch and one of our NEW Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons and White Baker's Twine!

And yes, there's more to the collection so come back tomorrow for more in this series of projects!  If you're loving it, leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from ya!

Happy Stamping,
Rhonda

Balloon Bash

Hi!
Over the next couple of days I will share with you some of the projects that I have made with the NEW birthday stamp set, designer series paper and embellishments featured on page 12-13 of the Occasions Mini Catalog!  This is an awesome color combination and the embellishments are really FUN!  Pom-pom trim & sequins, oh my!  This product suite is called BIRTHDAY BALLOON BASH - let me know if you enjoy it!

Using the GIFT BOX PUNCH BOARD and the new DSP, 3 different sizes of boxes stacked creates an adorable gift, topped off with a cute tag (new tag topper punch too!), ribbons, sequin trim, stamp set and more!  Quick & Fun!
And I love mason jars or Ball jars of pretty much any size and shape!  This cute lil' guy is the 4oz jelly jar size!  Calypso Coral seam binding around the lid and the new DSP and our circle punch to cover the lid!  Filled with the new SAB buttons, but I've already used almost 2 packages of them, sigh, so not so filled anymore!

I can't wait to show you the rest of this ensemble!  Stay tuned and come back tomorrow!

Happy Stamping!

I was enjoying having both girls home, even though Rachel was busy like crazy and Nicole was quiet as a mouse studying for her upcoming MCAT exam for acceptance into Medical School.  If you believe in the power of positive thoughts and prayer, wrap her in your thoughts for this Thurs am on exam day!
I was busy in my office preparing LOTS of display items for you to see at the Open House, and used my quiet time planning upcoming classes for Jan-Mar.  I will post more details about that in the coming days!

Thank You OWL Card

Hi!
Hope you're all doing fabulous as we head back into the work weeks after our long holiday break!  I have one more cute little thing I made as a Thank You to all of my Display Stampers that volunteered on Demo Day to help me!

As you know my team name is INKin' All Night! because I am quite a Night Owl, and although I don't officially have a logo or signature image associated with my team, I do tend to use Stars (because Stars come out at Night!) and then I throw in the occasional Owl here and there too!  Since I did create a little bit of Owl themed gifts for my team back in Oct at my INKstravaganza Day of pampering, I decided to carry that forward into my Demo Day of inspiring.

Here's a cute little Project Life Thank You Card, hand written because I actually cannot say hand stamped (what, no stamping?  eeek!!).  I am loving the Project Life and hope this inspires them to give it a try too (if you follow along, I've gifted PL cards in the past for events and things too!).  They also received extra door prize tickets for helping with displays!  Just something little to say thanks and a sample of making your own PL Pocket Cards (uses our 3x4 Grid cards).
They were so fun to make, the OWL is 3D and could be popped on to a pin if they wanted

Kathya posted a pic of hers, so I snagged it from her on FB or Instagram!
Okay so that's all she wrote!  Really, seriously, that's all!

Oh Happy Day!
Rhonda

Demo Day Make-n-Takes

Hi!
Just stopping by to share with you the projects that I provided yesterday at my team meeting, Demo Day Event.  The day was designed with an Open House feel to the flow but we actually fell together into more of a structure which worked well too!  They all kind of came in and viewed the displays, we did some introductions and by far the 'most favorite item from the SAB Brochure' was the Lotus Blossom stamp set (shame, haven't even had time to open mine yet!).

I had two projects for them and after some brief tips and instructions, I let them at it!  They all worked on them and helped each other and chatted while they waited for something ... and it was funny because I was free to take pictures of all their amazing creations that were proudly on display!  I think I got pictures of them all!

oh, okay, what'd they make?

A cute little Love Note (3x3" card/env) and a Berry Basket!
Both projects featured the NEW SAB DSP - drooooooling, seriously I love this color combination and I don't think I will ever have enough of this paper pack and oh did I mention the coordinating ribbons & designer buttons too!  And we used one of the SAB stamp sets on the card/env set!  Easy but Adorable!

There ya go!  Now ya have it!
And for anyone wondering, yes I did go back in time to blog this event.  I had all the pictures but need to get them uploaded and rather than skip blogging the event all together, I decided to blog and post it on the dates I intended to do it!  Hope you don't mind the time travel!

Have a great day!
Rhonda

Demo Day

Hi!

Demo Day - what is that you ask?  Well this year I changed up my regular meeting schedule for my downline team of demonstrators.  So I created a quarterly schedule of events to offer a different variety and hopefully a little something for everyone regardless of what their hobby or business level is with Stampin' Up!  I firmly believe in gathering and sharing our passion for Stampin Up products!  {1st mo -Event Day, 2nd mo -Shoe Box Swap, 3rd mo -Build Your Business}

This was the 1st time I've offered this event day and given the timing on the actual calendar and it coinciding with the start of both Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions Mini Catalog I decided that I would host my January team meeting as an Open House to share inspiration and feature the new products.  I asked my INKin' All Night! team and my Adopted INKers gals if they would like to be Display Stampers, it was optional.  I had about 7-8 that offered to volunteer to make 3-5 samples (cards and or 3D items) with 1 product/tool, product suite, project kit or whatever they had pre-ordered themselves.

I had been busy stamping and preparing as well but I really wanted this event to be about engagement and enthusiasm, and there's no better way to do that and create excitement than to involve your team!  It was so fun, they all did amazing and I was so impressed and pleased how the day all came together!  Big believer in the statement that if we each do a little and come together, we can create a lot!  I think they all enjoyed the day and I know that I cannot wait to do it again!

I provided a couple of make-n-takes and several door prizes too, it was so fun!  Here's a couple of pictures from the day!

I think there were 15 of us!  Doing a little business before the stamping began!

My dining room table and buffet filled with all kinds of
beautiful inspiration from my team and adoptees!
Thanks!  I'll be sharing the projects that I created!  And if you are local, pencil in my OPEN HOUSE on JAN 17th (11a-2p) and stop by and check it out!

Happy Stamping,
Rhonda
