Hi!
Today the play date continued (alone though, no Debbie) because I wasn't 100% happy with the Hamburger Box Die sample, so I thought I would just keep going and make some more! Staying with page 17, here we go again! Same supplies as the catalog shows, except I used the Silver Bakers Twine instead of Linen Thread and changed the colors of ink to coordinate with the boxes. The tag comes on the HB die, and then I just used the Num-Num set in clear and ta-dah. You could use a stamp-a-ma-jig if you want perfection because it is quite a tight fit but my 2nd try was close enough for me!
A couple of tips on the assembly of the box. The corners have score lines to create mountain and valley folds that are then adhered to one of the inside walls of the box. This time I just cut along one of the outer edge score lines (either edge just not the little center crease line) and folded and adhered the flap right to the edge of the box (like you would normally, to tuck an end flap in to create a box corner). And for the little slits, just use your paper snips or paper piercer to 'open' them a bit wider and then the little tabs slide through much easier.
Stay tuned tomorrow for the coordinating French Fry Boxes! Too cute, I really had fun with those!
Thanks,
Rhonda
